Nostradamus prophecy

Quatrain 50, Century L

From the peninsula where three seas meet,
Comes the ruler to whom Thursday is holy,
His wisdom and might all nations will greet,
To oppose him in Asia will be folly.

Our own mind!!!

Got it as a forward but worth reading,, :)

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood?

Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day? However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly one can get back their focus on what's important. David J. Pollay explains his story in this way….
Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab. Here's what happened. I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches!

The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean…he was friendly. So, I said, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!"
And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."
"Many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. And if you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did."
I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets? It was that day I said, "I'm not going to do it anymore."

Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. Never let the garbage truck run over you….

Tamil AMC..

Teacher in my follow up class started to tell about the upcoming advance course in Bangalore ashram. My mind is not ready to plan for this adv course as I attended Yes++ only two months back. She continued this adv course is so special that Guruji will be present physically in all sessions. Yesssssssssssss this is what I too needed. So I decided to go for this adv course too. All the things happened within three days and I reached ashram early morning.
Again I am in this beautiful place. Arunji, Swami Vishnupadha and Harsih conducted the course. Yeah again this mischievous guy has cheated me.. now and then Arunji sang ‘ Vishamakara kannan.. avan Vishamakara kannan..’ Slowly I realized what he is meaning to say.
Guruji used to come come one session daily. Even in his meditation there was no words… it was not sort of guided meditation.. he just asked everyone to close our eyes.. that is it. We are meditating without any effort. His presence was felt in each meditations.
Guruji told everyone ‘ Dont think whether I am eligible for this meditation. Is it possible for me to meditate’. Everyone present here is blessed to meditate. That is why I have made you to come here.’ Some bulb started glowing in my head.
Course was in final stage. I don’t want to leave the ashram. But remembered some of his words ‘ A vehicle goes to a petrol bunk and fills up its tank. It has to leave the petrol bunk. It cant be in petrol bunk all the time. Same is true for ashram. You are filled with Joy in Ashram. Your duty is now to spread the joy to the outside world and come back to Home for filling joy again if necessary’
Hmm…

Eclipse!!!

Q: How does an eclipse affect us?

Sri Sri: When that happens, sun/moon and earth aligns, a huge energy
field is created. We should meditate, chant or do Satsang because
the effect is at least 100 times more, i.e. effect of Om Namah
Shivaya on regular day is one time but during eclipse it is 100
times more. Also we shouldn't eat 3-4 hours before and after to
intensify the effect even more. When we eat our body uses up lot of
energy to digest the food so instead of energy going to the mind it
goes in digesting the food. So if we don't eat all the energy goes
to the mind and then we should do chanting of slokas or Satsang. Our
body is made up of 60% water and so during full/new moon we are
affected also. That is why in olden days people use to fast on
Ekadasi, few days before to balance out the effect! The fasting
should be done eating fruits and vegetables. Also when we overeat or
eat heavy meal during lunch, we are sleepy after food because our
body is using up all the energy on digesting food and we can't do
anything else.

Why worst Guys always get best Gals???

Some times I used to think whether love is blind or good looking gals are blind. Yeah I too know the proverb ‘Men fall in love thru eyes; Women fall in love thru ears’
But I have seen so many scenarios these guys used to be dumb. They do something :(

Stop stop.. Dont assume I am lettering my heart cry here :) I am supposed to have none other options( like the hero in film Santosh subramanium J ) But still what makes these gals to love them ; their looks? But not even a gal will sight them when this guy go out. Their talent? Ada pongaya… their bravery? Ila ila.. then wat????

Oh the Karma comes into play at this point? Mite be… Something.. Let us assume some (hidden ;) )good is happening in everyone’s life through some means.

What happened today?

The traffic was very very less today.. I could travel in top gear in Taramanii High road.. I dint use my vehicle brake in OMR that too in peak hours.. My mind started thinking whether any party called for bandh.. Still I doubt, we, tamil people dont turn to local hartals unless it is called by governemnt.. Still why there is no traffic today? Ghmm.. thought for a while something has happened today..
Entered into my office.. Again I can see lot of free parking space that too in car parking.. I was baffled..
The newspaper said "People gathered in long queues in MRTS stations at " "MTC profit will go up by 10% for this month"
Yeah it was FUEL SHORTAGE in Chennai.. I thanked my habit of filling my vehicle's petrol tank on weekends :) :)
